Stazzo Calzone a few minutes away from the Costa Smeralda
In the
hinterland of the Costa Smeralda, a few kilometres from the gulf of Cala di
Volpe and the beach of Liscia Ruja, I propose a characteristic Gallurese
stazzo. The building is located at the foot of a hill in the lush valley
between the villages of Montecanaglia and San Pantaleo, ideal for those seeking
privacy and quiteness.
Stazzu
Calzone was built by first-rate designers and craftsmen in the late 1990s, who
were originally commissioned to design a structure that would make the most of
the property's naturalistic aspect.
The
building has a simple but functional architecture, skilfully organised to fully
enjoy the area's marvellous panorama, rich in granite rocks sculpted by
millennial wind erosion that emerge from the green Gallurese countryside
characterised by medium to tall trees (holm oaks, oaks, strawberry trees, junipers).
The
structure is divided into two levels, independent of each other, for a total of
150 m². On the ground floor, accessible through a comfortable veranda, there
are two bedrooms, a study, two bathrooms, and a large living room with kitchen.
From the living room, through a large sliding glass door, there is access to a
generous veranda from which it is possible to admire the entire surrounding
valley.
In the
basement, accessible from two different entrances, there are two bathrooms, a
kitchenette and a large living room, part of which can be used as a sleeping
area.
The
recently renovated swimming pool is sheltered from the prevailing winds by a
scenic granite rock.
The
property is completed by a convenient garage, two parking areas for cars, and 13,000
metres of land with the typical Gallura maquis where there is a well for
drinking water for the exclusive use of the property.
